Can you please introduce yourself?
"My name is Marco and I created an online media called Onetime where I interview public figures, mainly movie actors. I started in August 2017 on YouTube, then moved to vertical platforms like TikTok and Instagram during the 2020 lockdown."
Why did you start creating short videos?
"I started creating short videos because I discovered that this was the new consumption mode. People no longer had 15 minutes to devote to watching a YouTube video, but rather 30 seconds to a minute. I thought it was a shame not to exploit this channel, so I started on TikTok and it took off immediately. Analyzing my YouTube stats, I realized that 90% of my views came from TikTok. It was powerful and helped me attract more people to my longer YouTube videos."
How did you use to edit your shorts before Submagic?
"Before using Submagic, I used to edit my short videos manually, which took me around three hours for a single short video. Now, thanks to Submagic, I can create all my videos for the month in just three hours. This allows me to concentrate more on content creation and to improve the quality of my subtitles, which has considerably improved the performance of my videos."

"Interesting, I'd tell them not to focus solely on YouTube, but really to go to TikTok and Instagram, where the algorithm can propel you to everyone and where you're most likely to explode even if you have zero subscribers. Create content, publish a lot every day and test concepts. Then, from among what will have worked, focus on what will have worked the most."
